reported stronger-than-expected earnings for the second quarter on Thursday.
The Kearney, Nebraska-based company reported quarterly net income of $23.5 million, or $0.49 per share, versus $61.8 million, or $1.29 per share, in the year-ago period.
Its revenue rose 0.1 percent year-over-year to $236.1 million from $235.7 million. However, analysts were expecting earnings of $0.47 per share on revenue of $241.20 million.

Its comparable store net sales slipped 1.7 percent for the quarter. Online sales climbed 17.4 percent to $20.1 million from $17.1 million.
