Omega Protein Reports 2010 Third Quarter EPS of $.37

Omega Protein Corporation OME today reported net income of $7.0 million ($0.37 per share) for the third quarter of 2010, compared with net loss of $2.8 million ($0.15 per share) for the third quarter of the previous year. Revenues for the quarter ended September 30, 2010 were $56.0 million compared with revenues of $49.9 million for the comparable quarter in 2009. Omega Protein recorded operating income of $11.9 million for the third quarter of 2010, versus operating loss of $2.2 million for the third quarter of 2009.
