Re/code reported on Sunday that two top executives at Twitter Inc TWTR are departing the company.
Re/code, citing "sources close to the situation," noted that Twitter's media head Katie Jacobs Stanton and product head Kevin Weil are leaving the company and have no immediate plans to join a new company.
On Monday, Twitter's CEO Jack Dorsey confirmed in a tweet that a total of four executives are now leaving the company, including Stanton and Weil.

Dorsey also added Alex Roetter and Brian "Skip" Schipper to the list of outgoing executives.
Roetter is Twitter's Senior Vice President of Engineering and Schipper is the company's Vice President of Human Resources.
Shares of Twitter were trading lower by more than 4.9 percent at $16.95 early Monday morning.
