Sears Holdings Getting Hit Hard Today (SHLD)

Sears Holdings Corporation SHLD is getting hit hard this morning, as it's down more than 5% on the wake of a weak earnings report. Sears Holdings, led by Edward Lampert, reported a loss of $1.98 per share on revenues of $.968 billion. Analysts expected $9.89 billion in revenues and earnings of $1.08 per share. "While Kmart improved profitability, our third-quarter results were disappointing, in large part due to lower sales of apparel and appliances at Sears," said interim CEO W. Bruce Johnson. At last check, shares of SHLD were off $4.08 to $62.12, a loss of over 6%.
