National-Oilwell Varco Up 6% (NOV)

National-Oilwell Varco, Inc. NOV is skyrocketing today, after the company raised its dividend 10%. The company said it will raise its quarterly dividend to be 11 cents a share. Shareholders as of December 3 will receive the payment 14 days later. "This dividend increase reflects the company's strong financial condition and our confidence in our business going forward," said CEO Peter Miller. At last check, shares were up $3.69 to $62.88, a gain of 6.2%.
