Deutsche Bank has published its research report on Owens-Illinois OI following disappointing figures in October.
Deutsche Bank writes, "October shipments were weak. According to data just released by the Glass Packaging Institute, October domestic glass shipments were down 1.1% m/m and down 5.1% on a y/y basis. In September, shipments were down 10.7% m/m & 6.3% y/y. YTD, glass shipments are down 4.9% y/y. If we compare these numbers with October 2008, shipments are off 15.1%."
OI closed at $27.38 Monday.
