Goldman Sachs said that it believes United Parcel Service, Inc. UPS is best positioned in an attractive global express package group, “and we add it to the GS SUSTAIN Focus List of global structural leaders.”
“Our deep dive into worldwide express markets highlights the relative advantages for UPS: (1) exposure to an attractive US pricing story,” Goldman Sachs writes. “(2) a returns-based entry strategy to fragmented emerging growth markets, (3) an attractive business mix, (4) efficient global networks that drive industry-high returns.”
Further, Goldman Sachs cited, “(5) operational leverage driven by structural cost reductions, and (6) a strong management team, with leadership in ESG performance relative to both express peers and c.800 companies analyzed under the GS SUSTAIN framework.”
UPS closed Thursday at $73.04.
