Oppenheimer has published a research report on DuPont DD as the company set aggressive growth goals in place for 2011 guidance.
In the report, Oppenheimer writes "DD reiterated 2010 EPS guidance of $3.10, in line with our estimate, and introduced 2011 guidance of $3.30-3.60 with $33B-$34B revenue. Although '11E targets were above model, they generally matched consensus, and expectations had risen with a recent raft of upgrades. DD's performance in 2010 was outstanding, but it is cyclical evidenced by 2009, so while we raise 2011E EPS to guidance, it remains to be seen whether DD can consistently grow revenue at a multiple of GDP, as it is now forecasting."
Oppenheimer maintains its Perform rating on DuPont, which closed yesterday at $48.32.
