A former Goldman Sachs Group Inc. GS programmer was convicted of theft, as he stole the code he worked on to develop high-frequency trading.
Sergey Aleynikov, who stole the code in June 2009, was convicted by a federal jury today.
Aleynikov left Goldman that month to take a job at startup Teza Technologies LLC.
