AirTran Airways Prepares for Festivus Sale (AAI)

AirTran Airways, a subsidiary of AirTran Holdings, Inc. AAI, is finalizing plans for the big finish to its 12-day "Festivus for the Rest of Us" celebration this Sunday. For the past nine days, the sale has featured one-day only special fares to new and exciting destinations around the AirTran network, including the Caribbean, Florida and other popular locales. After adding new destinations each day, AirTran will complete the ultimate feat of strength on Sunday with a special surprise for its customers. "The enormity of this fare sale and our big finish will leave our customers with little material for the traditional Festivus Airing of Grievances," said Tad Hutcheson, AirTran Airways' vice president of marketing and sales. "This sale is a fun way for us to give back to our customers during one of the most unique and memorable holiday celebrations around."
