Pentair Forecasts 2011 EPS of $1.93 to $1.98

Pentair, Inc. PNR today provided its 2011 sales and earnings outlook. For the full year 2011, the company anticipates sales growing in the mid-single digit range to approximately $3.2 billion. Pentair expects 2011 net earnings per diluted share from continuing operations (EPS) will be between $2.20 and $2.35, which represents an increase of approximately 12 to 20 percent from the mid-point of 2010 outlook and includes the impact of higher year-over-year pension expense. The company expects to continue to generate free cash flow in excess of net income for 2011. The company continues to expect full year 2010 EPS in the range of $1.93 to $1.98 and sales of approximately $3.0 billion, an increase of 12 percent compared to the prior year.
