Huge Purchase Of Dell Shares (DELL)

Shares of Dell Inc. DELL are down almost 2% today, despite news just coming out that CEO Michael Dell purchased a large block of shares on Friday, some 7.37 million of them, at a price of $13.87. There has been recent speculation that Dell could go private, but those rumors have been squashed by the company for now. A large purchase like this does bring up the potential for a going private transaction though. It's something to keep an eye on for 2011, as I wouldn't expect any transaction to occur before then, should one eventually take place.
