3 Stocks For New Year's (DEO, DPZ, RUTH)

New Year's Eve is just around the corner, and it's a time to celebrate all the positives and prosperity you've achieved this year and look forward to the good things and the hope that next year will bring. Some stocks to consider for a "New Year's Eve trade" are Ruth's Hospitality Group Inc. RUTH, Domino's Pizza, Inc. DPZ, and Diageo plc DEO. An older crowd tends to go out to eat to higher end restaurants to celebrate the New Year, and Ruth's Chris Steakhouse is a higher end steakhouse that could see a little bump up from the increased business on New Year's Eve. Diageo and Domino's are a trade for the lower end consumer, mostly a college age crowd. These two names should see a bigger boost than perhaps Ruth's Hospitality, as the college-aged crowd tends to celebrate the holiday more than the affluent, older crowd. As such, I would expect to see an increase in sales for these companies products leading up to the New Year.
