Sold GE, But I Still Like the Stock

So, last month, I sold out of my long-term General Electric Company (GE) position. I didn't really want to do it, but sometimes you have to make tough money-management decisions. Why did I sell out? Well, we're all playing the tax game right about now, am I correct?
