Anadarko Petroleum Corporation APC is up sharply in pre-market trading, gaining almost 5% on reports that BHP Billiton BHP may bid for Anadarko at $90 per share. At last check, shares of Anadarko were up $3.31 to $74.04, a gain of 4.68% in pre-market trading.
