Suitors Emerge For IMAX? (SNE, DIS)

A report in the London Daily suggested that Sony Corp. SNE may be prepared to bid more than $40 per share for the cinema chain and that Walt Disney DIS may also be interested in acquiring the company. IMAX shares jumped as much as 13% in pre-market trading and are currently up 9.53% to $29.45. Volume has been heavy with more than 7.58 million shares trading hands compared to a daily average of under 1 million.
