AMD Shares Jump On CNBC Mention (AMD, AAPL)

Shares of Advanced Micro Devices AMD jumped in Monday afternoon trading after a positive mention on CNBC's Fast Money Halftime Show. One of the panelists suggested that one of the stealth Apple AAPL derivative plays is AMD. Currently, AMD is trading up 3.40% to $9.13 on very heavy volume. More than 25 million shares have already changed hands versus a daily average of around 16 million.
