The results of Portugal's bond auction are strengthening European Markets today. The Portuguese government successfully sold 1.25 Bln euros of government bonds in 3- and 10-year notes. Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentina SA BBVA, Banco Santander, S.A. STD, and Deutsche Bank AG DB have all benefited from the sale.
Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentina SA BBVA is currently trading at $10.18 per share, a 10.53 percent increase from yesterday's close. Banco Santander STD is up 9.76 percent, currently trading at $10.65 per share. Deutsche Bank DB marked a 4.66 percent gain, and is trading at $54.96 per share.
