IBM Closes Aperto Acquisition

disclosed that it completed Aperto acquisition. The acquired firm would join the tech firm's Interactive Experience known as IBM iX. The companies did not reveal any financial details about the acquisition deal. IBM said that Aperto and IBM iX would offer businesses with engaging experiences through a combination of design, creative, and digital skills. The company expressed the confidence that the current and fresh clients would gain from the expanded expertise in analytics, mobile, strategy, and technology innovation. The tech firm's Global Leader for IBM iX, Paul Papas, said that "Experience design has become an essential element in business strategy as company's in all industries seek to deliver more consumer-like experiences." He added that "We look forward to working with Aperto to drive real results for our clients in pursuit of digital reinvention." IBM said that the acquisition was the latest tactical move to improve the experience design prowess of IBM iX. Incidentally, the tech firm also revealed plans to buy Bluewolf. IBM iX was regarded as a next-generation services organization focused to creating personalized experiences. On Monday, shares of the company closed higher by 0.58%.
