The worst performing industries in the market today are: Security Software & Services: This industry slipped 2.4 percent by 11:00 am. The worst stock within the industry was Check Point Software Technologies Ltd. CHKP, which fell 4.6 percent. Check Point Software reported better-than-expected Q1 earnings. Building Materials Wholesale: This industry declined 2 percent by 11:00 am with Louisiana-Pacific Corporation LPX moving down 2.3 percent. Louisiana-Pacific is expected to announce its Q1 financial results on Monday, May 9, 2016. Information & Delivery Services: This industry fell 1 percent by 11:00 am ET. Nielsen N.V. Ordinary Shares NLSN shares dropped 3 percent in today's trading. Nielsen reported upbeat Q1 profit. Foreign Utilities: The industry dropped 0.9 percent by 11:00 am. The worst performer in this industry was CPFL Energia S.A. (ADR) CPL, which declined 1.4 percent.
