Hudson City Bancorp, Inc. Reports Q4 EPS of $.25

Hudson City Bancorp, Inc. HCBK reported today that net income for the fourth quarter of 2010 amounted to $121.2 million as compared to $136.6 million for the fourth quarter of 2009. Diluted earnings per share was $0.25 for the fourth quarter of 2010 as compared to $0.28 for the fourth quarter of 2009. For the year ended December 31, 2010, net income amounted to $537.2 million as compared to $527.2 million for 2009. Diluted earnings per share was $1.09 for the year ended December 31, 2010 as compared to $1.07 for 2009. The Board of Directors declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.15 per share payable on February 25, 2011 to shareholders of record on February 4, 2011.
