Deutsche Bank is tweaking its estimates on Union Pacific Corporation UNP.
“We are tweaking our 2011 EPS estimates to $6.40, from $6.48, but we have not changed our 2012 EPS estimate of $7.78,” Deutsche Bank writes. “While we have modestly raised our 2011 pricing and volume assumptions, we see higher-than-previously expected cost inflation this year.
“Our unchanged $117 PT is based on 15x our 2012 EPS estimate of $7.78. Risks include CO/UT coal production issues, rising costs, lower-than-expected intermodal carload growth, and rail reregulation.”
Union Pacific Corporation closed Thursday at $95.05.
