Brock Lesnar is an American professional wrestler currently under contract with the World Wrestling Entertainment, Inc. WWE.
Lesnar signed with the WWE in 2000 and made his television debut in March 2002. He left the WWE organization in 2004 to try out for the NFL and soon join the New Japan Pro Wrestling organization, despite signing a non-compete clause with the WWE that ultimately led to a lawsuit but was dismissed at the request of both parties.
He re-joined the WWE in 2012 following a stint with Ultimate Fighting Championship in 2008 to 2011. Aside from John Cena, Lesnar is considered by many to be WWE's biggest draw.
Speculation of a return to the UFC rink lasted until March 2015 when he re-signed with the WWE. However, this past weekend, it was officially announced Lesnar has been granted a "one-off opportunity" from the WWE to compete at UFC 200 -- arguably the biggest pay-per-view event.
"I didn't want to be sitting on my tractor 20 years from now wondering, 'God, I wonder if I would have just fought one more time?'" Lesnar told ESPN.
Lesnar will fight against Mark Hunt during the UFC event on July 9 in Las Vegas. After the fight, he will return to WWE and will take part in the SummerSlam event on August 21 in New York.
