S&P 500 index futures are trading lower by eight points at 2061.75 in Tuesday's session. The rally off the open failed at 2072.75 and the market turned south in a hurry.
The ensuing decline didn't find support until 2054.75. Since making that low it rebounded into the mid 2060 handle.
The top 10 components of the index are mostly lower, with four up and six down. The top gainer is General Electric GE shares which are trading higher by $0.43 at $30.26.
The top loser is JPMorgan JPM shares which are trading lower by $0.93 at $62.35.
