Wilmington Trust Loss Widens To $2.35 Per Share (WL)

Wilmington, Delaware-based Wilmington Trust Corporation WL released financial results on Friday morning. Wilmington Trust Corporation announced that its 4th quarter net loss available to common shareholders widened to $213.8 million, or $2.35 per share, compared to a net loss of $15.7 million, or 23 cents per share, a year earlier. According to a poll of analysts by Thomson Reuters, the average Wall Street estimate called for earnings of 35 cents per share. Wilmington Trust Corporation (WL) finished the previous trading day at $4.39 per share. The consensus price target of analysts covering the company's stock is $6.21 per share.
