DISH Network to Purchase DBSD for $1B

DISH Network Corporation DISH announced today that it has entered into an agreement to acquire 100 percent of the equity of DBSD North America, Inc. for approximately $1 billion subject to certain adjustments, including interest accruing on DBSD North America's existing debt.
