Gabelli is out with its Morning Call, focusing on Continucare Corp. CNU, Sensient Technologies SXT, Transocean NYSE" RIG), and Clearwire CLWR.
In the report, Gabelli reiterated its Continucare Corp Buy rating, left its Sensient Technologies Hold rating unchanged, reduced its Transocean 2011 EPS estimate to $6.55 from $7.35, and maintained its Clearwire Hold rating.
In regards to Transocean, Gabelli states, "We are reducing our 2011 EPS estimate to $6.65 from $7.35 after Transocean announced that it expects to take a $1.009 billion ($3.16 per share) after-tax non-cash impairment charge against its standard jack up fleet due to projected declines in day rates and utilization for the rigs."
