USDA Daily Cattle Slaughter; Live Cattle Futures Sharply Higher

Friday's USDA cattle slaughter was 114,000 head versus a year ago at 113,000 head. October live cattle is bid at 104.40, up 3.00 cents/lb. December live cattle is trading at 105.35, up 2.75 cents/lb. February live cattle is trading at 105.52, up 2.30 cents/lb.
