Trump Talks About The Frustration Business Leaders Are Feeling With Regulation

Speaking to
CNBC
on Monday, Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump talked about his vision of creating an economy with less regulation and lower taxes.

Trump said it is somewhat "surprising" to hear from both large and small businesses that over-regulation from the government is hindering the ability of companies to grow.

In fact, the billionaire real estate mogul suggested that an environment with less regulation may even be more important to business owners than a reduction in taxes.

Although Trump's business plan does call for a reduction in the corporate tax rate from 35 percent down to 15 percent, he suggested that business owners are arguing that changes in regulation is "much more important."

"When you think about it you can start to understand it," Trump continued. "Businesses are being put out of business by regulations. Every day new regulations come down."

Trump further suggested that the business of regulation is "turning out to be a very big bureaucracy" itself, and a Trump presidency will "knock the hell of it."
