AXIS Capital Reports Q4 EPS of $1.99 vs. $1.22

AXIS Capital Holdings Limited AXS today reported net income available to common shareholders for the fourth quarter of 2010 of $264 million, or $1.99 per diluted common share, compared with net income of $282 million, or $1.87 per diluted common share, for the fourth quarter of 2009. Net income for the full year 2010 was $820 million, or $6.02 per diluted common share, compared with $461 million, or $3.07 per diluted common share, for the prior year.
