UnitedHealth Sharply Higher After Q3 Beat

UnitedHealth Group Inc UNH shares are trading higher by $9.00 at $143.13 in Tuesday's session. The monster rally is the result of a Q3 beat of $0.09 along with a $20 million beat for revenues.

Following a sharply higher open ($139.30 vs. Monday's close of $134.13), it retreated just over $1 before finding support at $137.87 and resuming its move higher.

So far, it has reached $143.70 before falling back the $143 area. That high coincides with a series of six highs from $143.48 to $144.16 back in late July and early August.

Its all-time-high was made on July 20 at $144.48 and its all-time closing high was made on July 22 at $143.69.
