Apple Inc. AAPL isn't seasonal, at least the one Wall Street knows of. It's always in the news, either making announcements concerning products or moving the markets by the sheer weight it has in terms of market capitalization.
This week has an Apple overdose, stronger than the news flow of a normal week. Here is a listing of news/events an Apple investor can watch out for:
- Apple is scheduled to release its fiscal fourth quarter results after the market close on Tuesday, October 25. The consensus estimates call for earnings of $1.65 per share on revenues of $46.89 billion. This represents a decline from the year-ago metrics of $1.96 in earnings per share and $51.5 billion in revenues.
- Apple has sent press invitations for its new Mac announcement scheduled for Thursday, October 27. Apple Insider suggested the company is set to unveil a new MacBook Pro with an OLED touch bar.
- To cap off the week, Apple Watch Nike+ will begin to be available on Friday, October 28. The company said on its website that the product is the latest in a long-running partnership between two of the world's most innovative brands. The product is supposed to have built in GPRS to track the place, distance and route and is touted as water resistant to 50 meters.
Apple closed Monday's session up 0.88 percent at $117.63.
