SAN ANTONIO, TX --(Marketwired - October 25, 2016) - Rackspace RAX has once again been recognized by the Environmental Protection Agency as a leading green power user among U.S. tech companies.
This year, Rackspace moved from the tenth spot to number nine on the Top 30 Tech and Telecom list, which was released yesterday from the EPA's Green Power Partnership, a voluntary program that encourages organizations to use renewable, low-emission sources of energy in their businesses.
In addition to the spot on the Top 30 Tech and Telecom list, Rackspace ranked number 61 on the National Top 100 list. With this year's rankings, Rackspace is now eligible for the EPA's Green Power Leadership Club, which recognizes organizations who meet the EPA's green power use requirements.
