USDA Export Sales; Beef and Pork

The USDA reported today that beef weekly export sales for the period ending October 27th totaled 7,300 tonnes. Sales were down 12 percent from the previous week and down 46 percent versus the four week average. There were 1,600 tonnes sold for 2017 Pork export sales totaled 17,400 tonnes, sales were down 40 percent from the previous week and down 21 percent from the four week average. There were 1,400 tonnes sold for 2017.
