Goldman Sachs is out this morning with a research note following its Technology & Internet Conference.
Goldman Sachs' key takeaways from its conference are states as follows, 1) tablets and smartphones are disrupting the semi landscape, 2) strong mobile device growth is helping to drive a rapid 4G network build-out, 3) the shift to solid state NAND drives is accelerating, and 4) large scale LBOs by private equity firms are unlikely.
In the report, Goldman Sachs maintained its Aeroflex ARX Buy rating, maintained Varian's VSEA Buy rating, maintained its Advanced Micro Devices AMD Sell rating, and left its Micron Technology MU and Atmel ATML Neutral ratings unchanged.
