BP Hated Halliburton's Work (HAL, BP)

BP BP had a major problem with the cement work that Halliburton HAL did on its rigs, according to a presidential oil spill panel. Despite the issues that BP took, the company didn't do much about it, despite the concerns dating back to 2007. A 2007 audit by BP said Halliburton did not have a lot of experience evaluating data, and that BP had serious concerns about a particular Halliburton engineer working on the well. At last check, shares of BP were up 44 cents to $47.74, a gain of 0.9%.
