Live Cattle Futures Little Lower

February live cattle is trading at 113.25, down 0.45 cents/lb. April live cattle is trading at 112.30, down 0.45 cents/lb. Live cattle futures are trading lower just after the open. Wednesday's USDA cattle slaughter was 116,000 head, the slaughter for the week is now 342,000 head versus 335,000 a year ago.
