Top Narrow Based Indexes For March 1 (NGLPF, ANV, TCL)

By 11:00 am, the Dow Jones Industrial Average was down 17.37 points, or 0.14%, to 12,208.97, while the broader Standard & Poor's 500 index had dropped 3.27 points, or 0.25%. The NASDAQ composite index fell 7.05 points, or 0.25%. Some of the narrow based indexes that are still afloat in the markets are Geothermal Stocks, which have gained 2.1%, Gold and Silver Stocks, up 1.5%, and India Stocks and ADRs, moving 1.5% higher as a group. In Tickerspy's Geothermal complex, Nevada Geothermal Power Inc NGLPF had surged 6.1%. NGLPF reported a 123 % surge in its quarterly revenue. The best performing Tickerspy Gold and Silver stock has been Allied Nevada Gold Corp ANV, which was up 8.7%. ANV reported 2010 full year net income at $34.1 million.
