American Airlines Not Responding To Q4 Beat

American Airlines Group Inc AAL shares are trading lower by $2.00 (3.8 percent) at $47.59 in Friday's session. Despite a huge Q4 EPS beat of $0.56 along with a slight revenue beat, the issue is deep in the red.

Its higher opening trade of $50.00 has turned out to be the high for the session. When there was no follow through to the upside, sellers engulfed the issue. So far, the ensuing decline has taken the issue to $47.23 and it's attempting to rebound.

If the decline continues beyond the current low, there may be traditional support at the pair of low from January 23 ($46.75) and January 24 ($46.75).
