Fast Money Pops & Drops, March 1st (CCL, BYD, LO, EMN, VVUS)

On CNBC's Fast Money Pops & Drops, Tim Seymour said that COO of Carnival Corporation CCL sold 180,000 shares in late February. He thinks that it would be smart to stay away from this stock. Carnival Corporation (CCL) fell 6.07% today, and closed at $40.08. Pete Najarian commented on Boyd Gaming Corporation BYD and its 7.30% decline. He said that the losses keep piling up, and the company missed on the estimates as well. Pete Najarian is encouraged by the projections, and he thinks that it might be right time to start looking at Boyd Gaming Corporation (BYD). Lorillard Inc. LO gained 1.58% today, and it closed at $77.98. Stephen Weiss said that the stock traded higher on the news that menthol cigarettes are not worse for your health than regular cigarettes. He added that this seems crazy. Eastman Chemical Company EMN fell 2.44% today, and Guy Adami thinks that you should buy this stock on the dip. He would buy it around $90. Eastman Chemical Company (EMN) closed the session at $91.13, and it had a volume of 1.47M shares. VIVUS, Inc. VVUS fell 10.91% today, and closed at $6.78. Joe Terranova said that it looks like FDA won't approve its obesity drug, because of cardiovascular concerns. He advised investors to avoid this stock.
