Today Comcast CMCSA and Zoom Telephonics (ZMTP) announce that they have settled their dispute regarding the testing of Zoom's cable modems intended for sale to consumers at retail outlets and the ability of users to attach Zoom's modems to Comcast's network.
As a result, Zoom and Comcast have filed a joint motion to dismiss the complaint that Zoom filed last November with the FCC. Comcast and Zoom believe that the resolution of their dispute benefits both companies and furthers consumer choice in the cable modem marketplace. Comcast and Zoom look forward to working together in the future.
