Facebook Higher After Upgrades To Camera

Facebook Inc FB shares are trading higher by $0.50 at $140.82 in Tuesday's session.

The company announced "More ways to to share with the Facebook camera" that includes camera filters, stories and direct sharing. These new features are aimed to compete with certain features offered by Snap's SNAP Snapchat.

After a higher open, Facebook's stock continued in that direction before peaking at $140.00 and reversing course. The ensuing decline went beyond Monday's close of $140.32, but found support at $140.01 and rebounded. It came back to make a new intra-day high at $141.06, but is struggling to remain in the $141.00 handle.

The all-time high for Facebook was made March 21 at $142.31 and its all-time closing high was made Friday at $140.34.
