Benzinga's Top ETF Gainers, March 16th (TVIX, DPK, EWV, SQQQ)

VelocityShares Daily 2x VIX Short Term ETN TVIX traded 16.60% higher on Wednesday as the market volatility increased. The U.S. stocks were hit today by Japan's intensifying nuclear crisis.

Direxion Daily Developed Markets Bear 3x Shares(ETF) DPK jumped 9.48% in the regular trading session, and it added 2.93% in the after hours. This was the third consecutive trading session that DPK traded higher.

ProShares UltraShort MSCI Japan (ETF) EWV gained 7.87% in the regular session, but it lost 1.79% in the after hours trading. EWV had a huge volume today, with 2.83M shares traded.

ProShares Trust UltraPro Short QQQ ETF SQQQ added 7.15% as the NASDAQ-100 dropped 2.51%. QUALCOMM, Inc. QCOM was the worst performing stock, among the NADSDAQ-100 components. QUALCOMM (QCOM) fell 4.72% today, and closed at $50.50.
