Fast Money Pops & Drops, March 17th (AKAM, NBL, UPS, DAL, MMI)

CNBC Fast Money's Jon Najarian said on the show that Stifel Nicolaus upgraded Akamai Technologies, Inc. AKAM today, and the stock jumped 4.32%. He added that he would buy this stock. Akamai Technologies (AKAM) gained 4.32% today, and closed at $36.47.

Joe Terranova said that Noble Energy, Inc. NBL got its first off shore permit. That stock will jump to $100, thinks Mr. Terranova. Noble Energy (NBL) spiked 5.29% today, and closed at $92.63.

Guy Adami said that United Parcel Service, Inc. UPS went up on on the back of the FedEx FDX. But FedEx's (FDX) quarter wasn't a great one. He believes that it would be wise to take profits in United Parcel Service, Inc. (UPS). UPS gained 1.75% today, and closed at $71.61.

Delta Air Lines, Inc. DAL fell 3.33% in the regular trading session, and it added 1.32% in the after hours. Karen Finerman said that she is not a buyer of this stock.

Motorola Mobility Holdings Inc MMI gained 5.61% on the announcement of a new product. Brian Kelly is not impressed with the news, and he wants to sell this stock.
