IndexIQ, the ETF issuer that has become a prolific issuer of a unique suite of small-cap ETFs, plans to add to that lineup on Tuesday with the debut of the IQ Global Agribusiness Small Cap ETF. The ETF will trade on the New York Stock Exchange under the ticker "CROP."
CROP will track the IQ Global Agribusiness Small Cap Index, which provides important exposure to global small cap companies engaged in the agribusiness sector, including crop production and farming, livestock operations, agricultural supplies & logistics, agricultural machinery, agricultural chemicals, and biofuels, according to the IndexIQ Web site.
Crop production and farming will be the top sector weight in CROP with a 30.3% allocation. Agricultural supplies is next with a weight of over 23%. CROP will feature 51 holdings and an expense ratio of 0.75%.
IndexIQ also issues, IQ Canada Small Cap ETF CNDA the IQ Australia Small Cap ETF KROO, the IQ South Korea Small Cap ETF SKOR and the IQ Taiwan Small Cap ETF TWON and has filed to list several Asian Tigers ETFs.
