BMC Maintains Hold on Eastman Kodak (NYSE: EK)

BMC is out with its report today on Eastman Kodak EK, maintaining Hold. In a note to clients, BMC writes, "We remind investors that any compensation Kodak could receive remains contingent on negotiations & settlement between Kodak and Apple AAPL & RIMM RIMM – NOT on the ITC's determination. So while the ITC could ultimately suggest what it believes may be a fair settlement (if it so decides a settlement is warranted), the ITC's power really lies in its ability to ultimately prevent Apple / RIMM from importing any devices into the U.S. which it determines violate Kodak's patents." At the time of posting, shares of EK were trading pre-market at $3.95, up 16.18% from Friday's close.
