Citi Comments On Aeropostale 10K

According to Citi, Aeropostale ARO filed its 10K on Monday, 3/28. Citi reported that ARO plans to buy back $200 million in stock in 2011, down from $260 million in 2010. “We assume ~8 million shares are retired this year, which is accretive to EPS by about $0.14, assuming the current stock price of $24. Excluding buybacks, our 2011 EPS estimate would be $2.26, down 11% year over year. The company had $245.3 million remaining on its current repurchase authorization as of 4Q10.” Aeropostale closed yesterday at $23.97.
