Mosaic Reports Q3 EPS of $1.21 vs. $1.07; Revenues $2.2B vs. $2.34B

The Mosaic Company MOS announced today record third quarter net earnings of $542.1 million, or $1.21 per diluted share, for the quarter ended February 28, 2011. These results compare with net earnings of $222.6 million, or $0.50 per diluted share, for the third quarter ended February 28, 2010. Mosaic's net sales in the third quarter of fiscal 2011 were $2.2 billion, an increase from $1.7 billion compared to the same period last year.
