American Capital Mortgage Investment has filed to go public writes the Wall Street Journal, and is expected to raise as much as $500 million in the offering.
The company is a mortgage-investment company, and will be managed and advised by an indirect arm of private-equity firm and asset manager American Capital Ltd. ACAS.
The company will be a real-estate investment trust, and will trade under the symbol "MGTE" on the Nasdaq exchange.
