J.P. Morgan Chase & Co. has a Neutral rating and a $50 price target on shares of Vulcan Materials Co VMC.
In a note to clients, J.P. Morgan writes, "We see modest upside in Construction Materials stocks in the near term, supported by stable infrastructure trends and gradual cyclical improvement in 2011-12. We favor aggregates-focused names, as we think positive industry fundamentals could drive operating leverage that could surprise to the upside, even in a modest volume recovery scenario."
Shares of VMC closed at $45.85 yesterday, down 43 cents.
